Been getting this tightness and ache in my chest off and on, mostly after eating. Im 28 weeks. It does scare me a little so I want to mention it to my gynac, but wanted to hear if others felt this too.
Mine was mostly acidity pushing up and causing that burning chest pain. Small meals, not lying flat, and avoiding spicy food helped me. But if it doesnt feel like acidity, get it checked once.
Usually its gas or the baby pushing up on your ribs in later months. Sitting up straight, loose clothes and small meals help. If it feels different or severe though, dont self treat, see ur gynac.
If it's the burning acidity type, a little cold milk or rest with the head raised helps, beta. Eat light. But sharp chest pain is not something to home-treat, please show the doctor at once.
Chest pain shouldnt be ignored. A lot of times its just acidity or the rib pressure, but if its sharp, with breathlessness or sweating, pls call ur doctor immediately. Better safe with chest stuff.
I used to panic at every chest twinge. Most times it was just acidity but I always told my doctor anyway. Pls dont sit worrying alone, just message ur gynac and describe it, na?
