How to get rid of heartburn and indigestion during pregnancy?
Im in my third trimester and after every meal i get this horrible burning in chest and throat. Lying down makes it worse yaar. What gives some relief without medicine? really need help.
I've heard so many pregnant women talk about this horrible acidity! Is it true that drinking coconut water in the afternoon helps prevent it? I'm planning my pregnancy and definitely stocking up on these tips beforehand.
Oh God, the heartburn is killing me too right now! Cold milk gives me relief for like ten minutes, and then it's back. Has anyone tried fennel seeds (saunf) after meals, does it actually work long-term?
As a mom of two, I've been through this twice. Sip on coconut water in the morning and chew some saunf after meals to boost digestion naturally. And absolutely avoid drinking water during your meals; drink it 30 minutes before or after instead.
Listen, stop eating spicy and oily foods right away if you want to stop the heartburn. Eat your dinner at least two hours before sleeping and prop your head up with two pillows. If it's still unbearable, ask your gynac for a safe antacid gel.
Heartburn is so uncomfortable, but don't worry, it's very common because the baby is pushing against your stomach. Try having a glass of cold milk or a few almonds, it really helps soothe the burn. Just avoid lying down immediately after eating, okay?
