third trimester and my hips ache so much especially at night, I cant find a comfy sleeping position at all. Sometimes it wakes me up. What helped you ladies, any pillow tricks or stretches?
Sleeping on your side with a pillow between your knees helped me a lot with hip pain. Also a warm compress and gentle stretching. If it gets severe or sharp, mention it to your gynac.
My mom gave me a gentle warm oil massage on the hips and it eased the ache a lot. Sleeping on the left side helped me too. Simple things, but if the pain is sharp do tell your doctor na.
My doctor cleared me for some gentle prenatal stretches and they really eased my hip pain. A pregnancy pillow at night was a lifesaver too. Just do any exercise only after your gynac okays it.
Oh my hips have been complaining for weeks now, turning in bed is a whole event, lol. The pillow between knees trick genuinely helps me. This too shall pass, I keep telling myself.
