How to get rid of loose tummy skin after pregnancy?
Delivered 3 months back and my pet skin is so loose and hanging na, feels bad when i see in mirror. Tried some oil but no change. Anyone managed to tighten it, pls share what worked.
Yes, tummy skin laxity is common postpartum. For mild cases, consistent core exercises, good hydration, and collagen-boosting foods can help over time. However, for significant sagging, especially if it bothers you, consulting a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon for options like tummy tuck might be considered much later. Always discuss exercise plans with your gynac first, though.
This is something I've been a little worried about too, actually. I see so many moms with this issue. Is there anything simple we can do at home? Maybe some gentle exercises later? I'm curious what worked for others, hoping for some easy tips.
Arey beti, yeh toh har maa ke saath hota hai. Baccha jab andar hota hai toh skin stretch hoti hi hai na. Thoda toh time lagta hai, koi jadoo nahi hota. Ghar pe neem tel ya badam tel se malish kar sakte ho, halka halka. Aur doodh mein haldi peeyo, woh bhi skin ke liye accha hai. Sab theek ho jaega dheere dheere, tension mat lo.
It's totally valid to feel concerned about your body after pregnancy, I had so much anxiety about my body changing. That loose skin is a real thing, na. It takes time, our bodies go through so much. Gentle massages with good oils and light exercises when you're ready can help, but don't rush or stress too much. Your mental health is important too.
Loose tummy skin? Oh honey, I had twins! My tummy looked like a deflated balloon that had hosted a whole carnival, haha. Honestly, some of it just shrinks back naturally with time and breastfeeding. But some remains, that's just a badge of motherhood. I try to do some light planks when I remember, but mostly I just embrace my new 'tiger stripes'.
It's a natural part of becoming a mother, so don't be too hard on yourself. I focused on eating healthy and going for walks once my doctor gave the green light. Consistency with gentle exercise helps a lot, but it takes time. Just be patient with your body; it did an amazing job bringing a baby into the world.
