How to get rid of mucus in throat during pregnancy?
Im 6 months and stuck with this constant mucus in throat, keeps making me cough. Dont want to take random medicine without asking doc. Did any home remedy work for u all?
I remember having this constant throat clearing when I was pregnant, it was so irritating! But honestly, it disappeared almost immediately after my baby was born. Drinking warm water with ginger and honey really helped me back then.
I am also struggling with this constantly, especially at night! It feels like there's always something stuck in my throat. Has anyone found a safe remedy that actually works for this?
I'm in my 19th week and this throat mucus is driving me crazy, is this normal? I read online it's because of pregnancy hormones increasing mucus production. Did anyone else face this and did it go away after delivery?
Oh yes, I had this annoying post-nasal drip and throat mucus during my pregnancy. Gargling with warm salt water twice a day really helped soothe my throat. Just make sure you stay hydrated and take it easy.
This is quite common due to hormonal changes swelling up the nasal passages. I asked my doctor at the hospital, and she suggested steam inhalation with plain water and keeping a humidifier in the room. Always ask your gynac before taking any over-the-counter cough syrups.
