Im in my second trimester and my back and legs ache so much by evening, especially the calves. Cant take anything strong obviously so im looking for safe ways to feel some relief. What worked for you all?
Mild aches are normal but if the pain is sharp or one sided or with swelling pls dont ignore, get it checked. I had calf pain once and doc wanted to rule out other things. Better safe.
Gentle stretching and slow walks really eased my back and leg muscles. My doctor cleared me for some prenatal yoga so I do that. Ask ur gynac first before starting any exercise though.
Sitting long hours at work was killing my muscles. I started keeping my feet up on a stool and taking short walks every hour. Stay hydrated too, dehydration makes cramps worse.
Warm water bath and a light leg massage helped me a lot. Dont sit in one position too long, keep changing. And put a pillow between ur knees while sleeping, real game changer.
