I felt so overwhelmed and guilty for having negative thoughts when I was supposed to be happy. But please know you are not alone in this. Talking to my husband and just crying it out really helped me release the pressure.
My mother used to tell me to listen to soothing music and read good books to keep the mind calm. But if the thoughts are too heavy, please trust your doctor and speak to them. Mental health is just as important as physical health.
