Getting really uncomfortable now in 3rd tri and cant even see down there properly. Razor feels risky and waxing toh forget it. How are u all managing this part?
With twins, my belly was so huge I couldn't even see my toes, let alone anything else! Shaving blindly is a big no unless you want cuts. I just used a small hand mirror and a safe electric trimmer, or you can just ask your partner for help.
As my belly grew, I felt so frustrated because I couldn't see anything down there to shave! I felt so helpless, but then my husband helped me trim it very gently. It was a bit emotional but honestly so supportive of him.
If you are close to your delivery date and might have a C-section, just trim it lightly. After my C-section, the nurse actually shaved the top area before surgery anyway. Just keep it clean and avoid shaving too close to the skin to prevent painful ingrown hairs during recovery.
Please avoid chemical hair removal creams as they have strong smells and can cause skin irritation. Since I had a sensitive pregnancy with some complications, my doctor strictly advised me to only use a clean trimmer or scissor. Always consult your doctor before using any new products.
Between office and pregnancy fatigue, I had zero time for complicated routines. I just booked a professional salon lady to come home for a gentle wax, which is much faster and lasts longer. Just make sure the salon is hygienic and they use sensitive skin wax.
Every step in pregnancy can feel a bit overwhelming, especially after a long IVF journey. Trimming gently with safety scissors or an electric trimmer is the safest way to avoid any cuts or infections. Take it slow and do whatever makes you feel comfortable and clean.
