I am currently pregnant and already seeing stretch marks, so I'm also looking for ways to treat them! Have you tried using virgin coconut oil or bio-oil daily? Let me know if anything works for non-pregnancy marks too, I would love to try it.
After my C-section, my focus was entirely on healing, but I did notice stretch marks on my hips and belly. I gently massaged them with sweet almond oil every night after my stitches healed. It takes months to see a difference, so just give your skin some gentle time to recover.
Stretch marks are just a beautiful sign that our bodies are capable of changing and growing. Keeping the skin hydrated with coconut oil or shea butter helps them fade faster. Don't worry too much about them, they are very natural and almost everyone has them!
Keeping your skin deeply moisturized with plain coconut oil or olive oil after a bath will help fade them over time. Please don't worry, stretch marks are completely normal and they fade naturally as time passes.
I tried so many expensive creams after delivering my baby, but honestly, simple moisturizing with aloe vera and cocoa butter worked best to fade them over time. Stretch marks never disappear 100%, but they do become very light silver lines. Just be patient with your skin!
When I asked the dermatologist at my hospital about stretch marks, she clearly explained that they are deep skin tears, so topical creams only fade them slightly. For complete removal, they suggested laser treatments which you can discuss with a clinical dermatologist at a good hospital.
