This has been the worst part of my pregnancy so far, im in 2nd trimester and the constipation is so uncomfortable. ive tried drinking more water but not much difference. what helped you mommies? pls share.
This was my biggest struggle honestly. Soaked overnight raisins or figs in the morning, lots of water and some fruit really helped me. If it gets bad dont take any laxative on ur own, ask ur gynac for a safe one.
My mother in law told me to start the day with warm water and a banana, and it genuinely helped. Plus loads of water through the day. But for anything stronger I only took what my gynac suggested.
The iron tablets make it worse na. Add more fibre, papaya at night worked wonders for me, and keep walking a little daily. If still stuck for days, tell ur doctor, they adjust things.
Beta warm water in the morning and a spoon of soaked methi or isabgol used to help us, but check with ur doctor before isabgol in pregnancy. Eat ur greens and fruits, and dont sit too long, thoda chalna phirna karo.
