My MIL keeps telling me to take kesar milk so baby comes out fair and healthy lol. I dont even know how much or in what way to take it. is this really a thing or just an old belief?
Beta, in our families a tiny pinch of kesar in warm milk is given, but really small amount only. Too much is not good, so dont overdo it. And do ask your doctor once, every pregnancy is different na.
A few strands in milk now and then is generally considered fine, but moderation matters. Honestly its more tradition than necessity. If you want to have it regularly, just confirm the amount with your doctor.
My mother in law gave me kesar milk too, just a few strands, more for comfort than anything. I checked with my gynac and she said a little is fine. The myths about it changing baby colour are just stories, dont believe those.
