You calculate it using your Last Menstrual Period (LMP) date. But the most accurate week is always determined by your first dating ultrasound, which your gynac will do.
You can use free online LMP calculators to get a rough idea first. Save your money for the 8th-week dating scan at the clinic, which gives the exact medical week.
While you can use online calculators based on your last period, please check with your gynac. They will do an early scan to measure the baby and give you the exact week and due date.
It is simple. Count from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). Each 7 days from that date is one week of pregnancy, no need to overcomplicate it.
