We have been trying for almost a year and my doc mentioned something about egg quality at my age. Im 34 and now im wondering what i can do on my side, diet or lifestyle wise. Would love to hear if anything worked for any of you.
General things like a healthy diet, exercise, no smoking and managing stress do help overall fertility. But egg quality is also linked to age and health, so a gynac or fertility specialist is the right person to advise. Dont rely only on internet tips.
During my IVF journey my doctor focused on good sleep, balanced diet, less stress and the supplements she prescribed. I wont name any pills because it was specific to me. Please let a fertility doctor guide you, and be gentle with yourself.
With pcos I worked on weight and lifestyle and my doctor added what was needed for me. I really cant say what fits your body though. Please get checked properly rather than guessing, every case differs na.
Regular walking, light yoga and eating well supported my overall health while we were trying, but I always cleared activities with my doctor. A healthy body helps. For egg quality specifically, definitely consult a specialist.
