Im 6 months and barely getting proper neend at night. Either kamar pains or i keep turning side to side, and then in morning im so tired. Any tips yaar, what worked for you?
Sleep issues are super common, especially as you progress! Try to establish a consistent bedtime routine. A warm bath before bed can work wonders, and maybe some light stretching. Avoid heavy meals close to sleeping time. Hope it helps you get some rest!
I used an app that tracked my sleep patterns and it actually suggested some things. Try progressive muscle relaxation or guided meditation tracks. They really help calm your mind before sleep. Also, making sure your bedroom is completely dark and cool helps a lot.
I struggled with sleep a lot during my pregnancy, and for me, it turned out to be related to my thyroid levels acting up. I would suggest mentioning it to your gynac during your next check-up. Sometimes they can rule out underlying issues and suggest specific solutions.
Haha, improve sleep? What even IS sleep during pregnancy? I swear my bladder had an alarm clock. Jokes aside, a body pillow was my best friend. And try not to overthink it too much, sometimes that just keeps you up more. We'll all get through this!
Sleep? What's that? Haha! I find that if I eat something light but satisfying like a small bowl of oats or some toast with ghee before bed, I sleep better. But no heavy biryani, warna acidity pakka! Also, herbal tea (check with doc first!) is nice.
My doctor actually suggested a few things. Elevating my head with an extra pillow helped with acidity, and a pillow between my knees for hip comfort. Also, try to cut down on screen time an hour before bed. Magnesium supplements, if doc approves, can also sometimes help.
Oh god, don't even get me started on sleep! In my 3rd trimester now and it's a nightmare. I literally have to prop myself up with 5 pillows. My husband calls it my 'pillow fort'. Hydrate well during the day but try to reduce water intake a couple of hours before bed.
Oh, I totally feel you! I had terrible morning sickness, which made sleeping even harder. What helped me was having a small snack right by my bed for middle-of-the-night hunger pangs and keeping the room slightly cool. And yes, a pregnancy pillow is a must-have!
Sleep disturbances can sometimes be a sign of other things, so it's always best to discuss it with your doctor. While most cases are normal pregnancy discomforts, it's good to get a medical opinion. They can give you safe and personalized advice.
