Third trimester chal raha hai and i barely sleep, keep turning side to side whole raat. By morning im so thaka hua. What worked for u all to actually sleep better?
I am in my 28th week and literally struggling to sleep for more than 2 hours straight! I tried warm milk and reading books, but the baby keeps kicking the moment I lie down. What pillows are u guys using to support your bump, any recommendations?
Haan na, sleep issue is so frustrating during these months, back pain makes it worse. I used to drink a cup of warm milk before sleeping and put a pillow under my tummy. It really helped to relax my mind and body.
Don't worry, sleep issues are very common as your belly grows. Try to keep your bedroom cool, avoid screens for an hour before bed, and gently massage your feet with warm oil. Take it easy and sleep whenever u get a chance during the day too.
Please make sure you check with your gynac first before taking any sleep supplements or herbal teas. For natural comfort, sleeping on your left side with pillows between your knees is the safest way to improve blood flow to the baby. Avoid sleeping flat on your back.
Sleep was so difficult for me too, especially with my anxiety. I found that sleeping on the left side with a proper pregnancy C-shaped pillow helped support my back. But do talk to your gynac if you are feeling completely sleepless or restless, they can suggest safe options.
