At my last scan doc said my fluid is on the lower side and told me to come for recheck. Honestly thoda tension ho gaya. Is there anything I can do at home like water or diet to help? pls share.
Oh, my doctor also mentioned my fluid is slightly on the lower side. I am trying to drink lots of water and coconut water now. Has anyone else's fluid levels improved just by increasing water intake?
Keeping hydrated is key, and I also do very gentle prenatal yoga and slow walks, but strictly only because my gynac cleared me for light activity. If your fluid is low, ask your doctor first if you need complete bed rest or if light walking is okay.
In my eighth month, my scan showed slightly low amniotic fluid. Honestly, I didn't take any medicine, my mother just made me drink 3-4 liters of water daily, along with fresh coconut water and buttermilk, and it came back to normal.
I remember being so worried about this when my AFI level dropped a bit. I just rested on my left side as much as possible and kept a water bottle with me at all times. My baby is an active toddler now, so hang in there, it gets better!
Amniotic fluid levels are very crucial for the baby's safety, so you must follow your doctor's instructions closely. Generally, increasing your fluid intake by drinking lots of water, coconut water, and resting well helps, but get regular scans as advised.
