At my last scan the doc said my fluid is on the lower side and asked me to come back in 2 weeks. Im a bit tensed about it now. Did anyone manage to improve their levels? what worked for u, im planning to ask my gynac too.
When my AFI dropped a little, my doctor said the simplest thing is staying very well hydrated, she had me drinking lots of water and coconut water through the day. She also did closer scans to watch it. But she was clear that fluid level depends on the reason behind it, so medical follow up is key.
When mine was low my mum made sure I was sipping water and nimbu pani all day and resting on my side. My doctor said hydration genuinely helps. It came back up nicely with that plus the monitoring. Just stay close to your gynac for this one.
Low fluid (oligohydramnios) is something your doctor really needs to manage, please don't rely only on home tips. Mine was a bit low and my gynac told me to increase water intake and rest, and she monitored it with scans. The cause matters a lot, so go by what your doctor says for your case.
Don't panic if it's a little low, it can improve. Drink plenty of water, rest more and lie on your left side. But this is one thing where the doctor's scans and advice matter most, so stay in regular touch with her.
