Im around 28 weeks and some days baby is super quiet which makes me restless. I just want to feel those kicks more for peace of mind. Are there things that gently encourage movement?
Babies usually get active after u eat something sweet or cold, like juice or a fruit. Lying down on ur left side also makes movements more noticeable. But remember ur not really increasing them, just feeling them better when ur relaxed.
One thing, if u feel movements have genuinely reduced, dont try tricks at home for long, call ur gynac. Reduced movement is something they always want to check. I went in once for this and was glad I did.
I used to do kick counts at a fixed time daily after dinner, my app reminded me. A cold glass of water or lying quietly usually got my baby kicking. Tracking it daily gave me peace of mind.
I am 26 weeks and was wondering the same! I noticed my baby moves most when I lie down at night and after I eat. Glad to know others do the same little tricks.
