Last scan doc said baby's weight is thoda on the lower side and now im stressing. Im in my 8th month, want to know what foods actually helped u all to put on baby's weight. Pls share what worked for you.
Oh, I was in the same boat during my 8th month, the scan showed low baby weight and I completely panicked! But my doctor told me it's normal and just advised me to eat more protein and curd daily. By birth, my baby was a super healthy 3.2 kg, so don't worry at all!
I'm still trying to conceive, but my bhabhi was in her 8th month recently and faced this. She was told to have sattu drinks, milk, and boiled eggs every day. I hope this helps you and your baby stays very healthy!
Having twins meant double the pressure to increase fetal weight, and trust me, it felt like a full-time eating job! Focus on nutrient-dense foods like paneer, lean proteins, and bananas rather than just overeating rotis. Rest as much as possible, your body needs that energy to bulk up the little ones.
I know how every small detail makes us so anxious, especially after losing a baby before. Please don't take any random supplements without your doctor's prescription. Just eat a healthy diet with fresh fruits, lentils, and milk, and let your gynac guide you on the baby's growth during your regular scans.
Honestly, I can only tell you what worked for me during my third trimester. I focused heavily on protein shakes, lots of dal, eggs, and paneer, and took plenty of afternoon naps since rest helps blood flow. My doctor said the weight increased nicely because of this.
Adding more proteins like paneer, eggs, and soaked almonds daily to your diet is the best way to help with baby's weight. Also, drink 2 glasses of milk daily, it really helps. But if you have any severe pain or sudden leakage, please don't wait for home tips, check with your gynac immediately.
I totally understand how much you must be worrying about your little sweetheart's growth right now. Just focus on eating well-balanced meals, especially sweet potatoes, bananas, and a handful of dry fruits. Your little one is growing beautifully inside, stay happy and strong mama!
