How to increase blood flow to baby during pregnancy?
Im in my 7th month and my last scan report mentioned something about blood flow, so now im a bit tense. Doc said its okay for now but i want to do whatever helps na. Any food or small habits that improved this for u all? pls share.
I used to get so stressed about this and kept checking my pulse and everything. Honestly, my gynac said baby is getting enough blood unless there's a serious medical issue. Just sleep on your left side as much as possible, it really helps the flow and lets you relax.
I just delivered last month and my doc kept reminding me to lie down on my left side. Also, drinking lots of water and doing light evening walks did wonders for me. Keep moving a bit if you are not on bed rest, it keeps the circulation going beautifully!
Honestly, don't overcomplicate things. Just stick to left-side sleeping, keep yourself well hydrated, and do some basic walking. If your scans are fine, the baby is getting exactly what they need, so relax and stop googling!
Actually, left-side sleeping is scientifically proven to reduce pressure on the vena cava, which improves blood flow to the placenta. My doc also advised me to avoid lying flat on my back after the first trimester. Focus on a balanced diet and some light stretching if your gynac allows.
