My reports came and gynac said my calcium is on the lower side. I drink milk daily but maybe not enough na. What all do you ladies add to your diet for this, apart from the tablets?
I leaned on milk and curd but watched the sweetened stuff because of my sugar. Plain dairy and greens worked without spiking anything. The calcium tablet timing also matters, ask your doctor when to take it.
Milk, curd, paneer, ragi and sesame seeds were my go to for calcium. My doctor also gave a calcium tablet from the second trimester. Food plus the prescribed tablet covered it well for me.
My mother made me ragi porridge and til laddoo often, both lovely for calcium. Curd rice was my daily comfort too. Alongside that I took whatever calcium my doctor prescribed.
