How to increase chances of conceiving while breastfeeding?
My baby is around 10 months and we are hoping for a second one soon. I know breastfeeding can delay things and my periods are still irregular. Anyone conceived while still feeding? would love to hear how.
When I was fully breastfeeding my periods didnt come for a long time, so cycles were unpredictable. As feeds reduced and baby started solids, things slowly regularised for me. It varies a lot, so be patient with your body.
With my two feeding non stop, my body was like no way am I doing this again so soon, lol. Honestly cutting some feeds and getting periods back helped. Talk to your doc if you want to plan it properly.
Breastfeeding can delay ovulation, so first your cycle needs to settle. Tracking once periods return helps you time it. If it's taking long, a quick chat with your gynac will tell you where you stand.
