We just did our first iui and im in the two week wait now, so anxious i cant focus on anything. Is there anything i should be doing or avoiding to give us the best chance? Would really love to hear from anyone who got their bfp after iui.
Honestly the biggest things are following ur fertility doctor's medicines and timing exactly, rest, good nutrition and avoiding stress and heavy strain. The rest is in their hands. Dont add random tips, just trust ur clinic's protocol.
I totally understand how much u want this. Beyond following ur doctor, just take good care of yourself, eat well, rest, stay positive. There's no guaranteed step, but ur doing everything right by asking. Praying it works for u.
With my PCOS the journey wasnt simple, so I really get it. What helped me was sticking to my doctor's plan and not overdoing or overthinking. I wont claim any sure way, every body responds differently. Wishing u good news.
I've been through the fertility journey and I know how heavy this wait feels. After my procedures I just followed every instruction my doctor gave, took the prescribed support meds, ate well and tried to keep calm. There's no magic trick, sending u so much hope.
We're on this path too and I get the anxiety. Our doctor just said follow the medicines and instructions and not stress. I keep reminding myself that. Hang in there, hoping it's good news for both of us.
The two week wait is the hardest part, I know. Take ur meds as told, rest reasonably, eat nourishing food and try to keep ur mind at ease. Stress doesnt help. Be gentle with urself, ok.
