Read somewhere that estrogen matters a lot during pregnancy and now im wondering if mine is enough. Not sure if its even something we can control with food or rest. Just curious matlab, has anyone discussed this with their gynac?
Oh my, why do you want to increase estrogen? Did the doctor say it is low? I used to get so stressed about every hormone report, but please don't take any supplements or do anything without asking your gynac first, it can be risky for the baby.
For general health, you can eat things like flax seeds, soy, and sesame seeds which naturally support hormones, but during pregnancy, you must ask your doctor before trying to actively increase any hormone. If you have any unusual symptoms or pain, please go to the clinic immediately.
I completely understand the constant worry and wanting to make sure everything is perfect for the baby. But hormone levels are so delicate during these months. Just focus on deep breathing and eating healthy, and leave the hormone management to your doctor.
I remember panicking about my hormone levels too in the first trimester. But actually, estrogen rises naturally during pregnancy to support the baby. Unless your gynac specifically told you to take something, you don't need to do anything at all!
Honestly, please do not try to change your hormone levels on your own. My morning sickness was terrible because of hormone surges, and trust me, messing with hormones can make you feel so much worse. Just stick to basic, healthy home-cooked food.
