How to increase fetal weight in 8th month of pregnancy?
Just had my scan and doc said baby weight is on the lower side for 8 months. Im a bit worried na, eating but maybe not enough. What did you all do in last trimester to help baby gain weight? pls share.
Listen to me, don't worry too much about the ultrasound weight, it can be slightly off sometimes. Just focus on eating healthy meals every few hours, drink plenty of water, and get proper rest. Your doctor will guide you if any medical intervention is actually needed, okay?
In our family, my mother-in-law insisted on having ragi porridge and bananas daily to help the baby gain weight. But I made sure to check with my doctor first, and she suggested adding more protein like boiled eggs and paneer. Trust your gynac's advice and eat well.
Beta, pareshan mat ho. Ghar ka bana khana khao, doodh aur dry fruits dadi-nani hamesha bolti hain bache ka vajan badhane ke liye. Apne doctor ki salah zaroor lena aur acche se aaram karna.
Don't panic about those scan numbers, they are just estimates. Focus on a high-protein diet—add greek yogurt, tofu, lean meat if you eat it, and some walnuts. Ask your doctor if you need a protein supplement, and stop stressing.
I completely understand how stressful every single gram of baby's weight can feel, especially when we want everything to be perfect. Try to include gentle protein sources like lentils and milk in your meals as suggested by your care team. Sending you and your little one lots of love and prayers.
I was in the same boat during my 8th month as my baby's weight was slightly low. My gynac put me on a protein powder supplement and told me to sleep on my left side, which actually improves blood flow to the baby. It worked wonders for us!
