My hb came 9.8 in last report and gynac said its low. I feel tired all day and thoda breathless even climbing stairs. What foods actually helped u increase it naturally? pls share.
You dont need fancy stuff, simple cheap foods like spinach, dates, jaggery and groundnuts boost iron well. Take the iron tablets the hospital gives, they are usually free or cheap at govt centres. Get HB rechecked at routine visits, no extra cost.
My doctor put me on iron supplements and told me to eat iron rich food like green leafy veg, dates, jaggery and pomegranate. She said take iron with vitamin C, like lemon water, for better absorption and avoid tea right after meals. My HB improved nicely with that.
Amma made me drink ragi malt and eat lots of greens and dates, it really helped my levels. Beetroot and jaggery were her favourites for blood. But I kept taking my prescribed iron too, food alone wasnt enough for me, doctor said so.
