My BP keeps coming low and i feel dizzy when i stand up, especially mornings. Im around 4 months. What did u all do to manage it, any food that helped? Will ask my gynac too at next visit.
If you are trying to raise your BP, be careful with sweet drinks if you have sugar issues. I had gestational diabetes, so I raised my salt/fluid intake using plain salted nimbu paani or salted buttermilk instead of sweet juices.
Don't worry, my little one is a toddler now but I still remember those dizzy days. Just avoid standing up too quickly from your bed or chair, take your time.
I felt so dizzy and weak during my first trimester because of low BP. My doctor told me to sit down immediately whenever I felt lightheaded and drink plenty of fluids.
When my BP went low, my mother used to give me fresh beetroot juice or a cup of warm milk with a pinch of salt and kesar. Staying with family really helped me manage these small issues with lots of rest.
