My blood report showed platelets on lower side and my gynac asked for repeat test. I am worried because I don't know what food or care helps in pregnancy. Anyone had low platelets and got monitored?
Beta some people give papaya leaf and all, but in pregnancy please do not take such things without asking the doctor, it can be risky. Eat good nutritious food and let the doctor decide the rest.
There isnt a quick home fix for this thats safe in pregnancy. Good diet and hydration support overall health, but platelet management should be fully under your doctor, especially closer to delivery.
I panicked when mine were a bit low, but the doctor calmed me saying it often settles and they just keep checking. Try not to spiral like I did. Eat well, rest, and let your gynac track the numbers.
My doctor said mild dips in platelets are common in pregnancy and often dont need treatment, just monitoring. Eating well, staying hydrated and rest helped generally, but how to manage really depends on your count. Let the gynac guide based on your reports.
Low platelets in pregnancy needs to be watched by your doctor, please dont try to fix it with home remedies alone. Mine were monitored with regular blood tests and the doctor decided everything. Follow your gynac closely on this.
