My gynac said my protein intake is low and i need to up it. Im mostly vegetarian so eggs and meat are limited for me. How do you all manage enough protein with veg food?
You dont need costly protein powders yaar, simple dal, eggs, curd and chana do the job well. I kept it home based and affordable. If a doctor suggests a supplement then take it, otherwise food is enough.
Actually I just added a bowl of curd and some sprouts to my meals and it made a big difference yaar. Eggs in breakfast too if you eat them. Easy to fit in without much fuss.
My dietician focused a lot on protein, so I had sprouts, eggs, milk and dal regularly. I also did light walks which my doc allowed. Felt much stronger through the day.
Add dal, eggs, paneer, curd and roasted chana through the day, small portions often works best. I made sure every meal had some protein. It really helped with energy and kept me fuller.
