My fasting sugar came out lower than normal in my last report and I keep feeling dizzy and shaky between meals. Doc wants me to manage it but I dont fully understand how. Has anyone dealt with low sugar in pregnancy, what helped you?
Small frequent meals usually help keep levels steady instead of one big meal. Keep something like a banana nearby for sudden dips. Still, let your doc guide the actual numbers.
If your sugar is dropping low, please dont self manage it, talk to your gynac first. They will tell u exactly what and how much to eat. Low sugar can make u dizzy so dont ignore it.
I had the opposite problem so i was very careful with food. For lows my doc told me to keep a small fruit or some dates handy. But please get your exact plan from your doctor, every body is different.
