Had my scan and doc said baby's weight is on the lower side for the weeks. Im 32 weeks. Feeling a little worried tbh, eating properly but still. What did u all add to your diet that actually helped baby gain weight?
You dont need expensive supplements yaar. Simple ghar ka khana with extra dal, milk, paneer, eggs, peanuts and seasonal fruit does the job. Thats what I did and baby was a healthy weight. Save money, eat well.
My gynac said a balanced diet matters more than just eating heavy, she focused on protein, milk, eggs, dals, nuts and fruits. She also kept checking baby growth on scans. If baby weight is low your doctor will guide a proper plan, dont stress eat randomly.
My family made sure I had lots of milk, ragi, eggs and good home food. Calm eating and rest helps too. But always let your doctor track the babys growth, they know if anything extra is needed.
Just be careful not to go overboard with sweets thinking it adds baby weight, it doesnt work like that. Protein and good fats like nuts helped me. With my sugar issues my doctor planned my diet, so check yours too.
