How to increase water level in 9 month of pregnancy?
My doctor mentioned my amniotic fluid levels are a bit low in my 9th month, and I'm really worried. Is there anything I can do at home, like changes in diet, to help increase the water level?
I am preparing myself for pregnancy and reading a lot about this. I've heard hydration is key, but can the doctor prescribe something or do we just have to rely on drinking liquids?
Oh dear, please don't take this lightly because low fluid in the 9th month can cause so much stress! Drink plenty of water and lassi, but please call your doctor and get a scan done to make sure the baby is perfectly safe.
Staying hydrated is very important, so keep a bottle of water near you at all times and take small sips. But please make sure you discuss this with your gynac, as they are the best person to guide you on safe fluid levels in the final month.
Actually yaar, drinking 3-4 liters of water daily and lots of coconut water is the best way to keep the fluid up. But since you are in your 9th month, please check with your gynac regularly because low water levels can complicate delivery.
To keep my water level good, I made sure to drink 10-12 glasses of water, fresh juices, and coconut water daily. Keep a positive mind, but definitely follow whatever medical advice your doctor gives you at this critical stage.
