How to increase water level in baby during pregnancy?
At my last scan doc said my amniotic fluid is slightly low and asked me to come back in 2 weeks. Thoda scared hu honestly. Is there anything i can do at home to improve it? Anyone went through low fluid?
Honestly, I feel like a water tank right now in my 38th week! My gynac told me to drink 3 liters of water daily plus coconut water, and now I am literally running to the washroom every ten minutes. It is tiring but totally worth it to keep the levels up!
Low amniotic fluid is quite common, and the best way is to keep yourself hydrated. Drink at least 3-4 liters of water daily, and add barley water or buttermilk. But do get regular scans as advised by your doctor to monitor the level closely.
Arey, isme sabse best hai khub saara paani pina, lassi aur nariyal paani! My mom always told me to drink fresh nimbu paani too. But haan, ek baar doctor se check up zaroor karva lena agar level bahut low hai toh, bilkul risk mat lena na.
Because of my PCOS, my pregnancy had a few extra checks, and we noticed a slight dip in the fluid levels around the 7th month. My doctor advised complete bed rest along with high liquid intake, which helped a lot. Please don't try any heavy remedies without consulting your gynac first.
Please be careful with what you drink to increase fluid. Coconut water is great, but because of my gestational diabetes, I had to limit it to avoid sugar spikes and stick to plain water. Always ask your doctor before drinking packaged juices or sweet drinks.
