How to increase water level in body during pregnancy?
At my last scan doc said my fluid is on the lower side and asked me to hydrate more. Im 28 weeks now. Apart from drinking water what else helped you increase it? thoda worried.
Having coconut water daily and barley water is very helpful naturally. But if your scan shows that the water level is extremely low, please don't rely only on home tips and follow your doctor's instructions closely.
Actually, keeping a bottle with you all the time is the best trick, yaar. I used to add a bit of lemon and mint to make it refreshing. Low water level can be risky, so consult your gynac once if the levels are too low.

I keep my water levels up by drinking lots of fresh sweet lime juice and coconut water, it satisfying my sweet cravings too! Watermelon is also amazing for hydration. Just make sure to eat fresh and clean!
My doctor told me that while drinking water, buttermilk, and ORS helps with hydration, low amniotic fluid can sometimes be due to other medical reasons. She advised me to get regular scans to monitor the fluid levels. Please make sure to follow your gynac's advice on this.
From my experience, drinking at least 3-4 liters of fluids daily is a must. I used to have buttermilk and coconut water regularly, which helped my water levels. It also helps later during breastfeeding to stay hydrated.
Just try to keep a water bottle near you and take small sips throughout the day. It really helps keep the amniotic fluid and hydration levels good. Take care.
