How to increase water level in uterus during pregnancy?
At my last scan the doctor said my amniotic fluid is on the lower side and asked me to come back in 2 weeks. Im 28 weeks now and a little worried. Does drinking more water actually help or is that just a myth?
My fluid was low at one point and my doctor took it seriously, so please dont treat this casually. She told me to hydrate well and rest, but she was also monitoring closely with scans. Low fluid needs proper doctor guidance, not just home tips.
My gynac said drinking enough water through the day genuinely helps amniotic fluid in many cases, she told me to aim for good hydration and avoid being on my feet too long. But if its really low they watch it carefully, so follow whatever scan and instructions she gives.
First thing, don't panic. Drink water properly, coconut water, fruits, all that helps generally. But if a scan showed low fluid, then your doctor's plan matters most, keep going for those checkups.
Honestly I'd forget to drink water at work, that was half my problem. I started keeping a bottle on my desk and finishing it few times a day. Simple but it helped, and my doctor was happy with my levels after.
