How to increase weight of baby in 9 month pregnancy?
At my last scan doc said baby weight is on the lower side and now im stressing. Im 36 weeks. What can i eat or do in this last month to help the weight? mommies pls share.
When I was short on time I kept easy protein handy, boiled eggs, a glass of milk with dry fruits, curd bowls. Small frequent meals were easier than big ones in the ninth month anyway. But yes, your doctor's scan should decide if baby really needs it.
My gynac told me to add protein, milk, paneer, eggs, dals and dry fruits, plus enough good fats like ghee in small amounts. She said don't just eat sweets, that adds your weight not baby's. Most importantly she adjusted my diet based on my scan, so ask yours what your baby specifically needs.
Last month focus on protein and milk based foods, eat frequent small meals. Paneer, curd, eggs, nuts, sprouts all help. But genuinely let your doctor guide the amount because every baby's growth is different and she's tracking it.
Increasing baby's weight is best done with protein and healthy foods, not extra sugar, especially if your sugar is on the higher side like mine was. I added paneer, dal and nuts under my dietitian's guidance. Please get a proper diet plan from your doctor for the last month.
