My bp was slightly on the higher side at my last checkup and doc told me to keep an eye on it. Now im a little tense about it. What lifestyle things helped you keep it in control? want to do whatever i can from home.
BP in pregnancy is serious so please dont manage it only with home tips. I had high BP and needed regular monitoring and medicine my doctor gave. Keep ur appointments and check BP regularly, dont skip.
Lifestyle helps, low salt, enough sleep, staying hydrated and calm. But honestly in pregnancy, BP control really needs your gynac watching it. Get a home BP monitor if they suggest and share readings at visits.
Since I had to watch my diet anyway, I kept salt low and ate lots of fresh fruits and veggies which is good for BP too. Less processed food really. Always ran my food plan by my doctor though.
My doc allowed me gentle walking and some breathing relaxation, it helped keep mine steady. Stress really pushes BP up so I kept things calm. But only do any activity after ur doctor okays it for you.
Cut down on extra salt and packaged salty snacks, rest properly and dont overexert. Light walks if doc allows. But if ur BP is already running high, that needs ur gynac to manage, not just diet.
