My periods are a bit irregular so im confused about when exactly it happened. The dates are not adding up in my head. How do you actually figure this out?
I was curious about this too while planning. Apparently tracking ovulation gives the best guess of conception date. The scan later confirms it more exactly.
I used a tracker app and it estimated conception around my ovulation, roughly 2 weeks after my last period start. But the exact date is hard to pin. The dating scan gives a much closer estimate honestly.
My gynac told me conception usually happens around ovulation, not the day of intercourse. So they count from your last period and confirm with the early scan. The first ultrasound dating is the most accurate way to know.
