My periods are always irregular so im totally lost about when exactly i conceived. Is there any way to figure out the actual date or does the scan tell it? Just want to know how far along i really am.
Conception usually happens around ovulation, roughly 2 weeks after your last period starts in a regular 28 day cycle. But the exact date is hard to pin down. My gynac said the dating scan in early weeks is the most accurate way to know.
I tracked my ovulation while trying and that gave me a rough idea of the conceive date. Apps help but they are estimates only. The first scan confirmed mine properly.
Honestly don't stress too much over the exact date. The doctor will give you a proper due date from the scan, that's what you'll actually use. I just noted my last period date and let the gynac do the math.
