We are trying and this month i got some light spotting a few days before my usual date, much less than normal. Now im confused if its my period starting or something else. How did you all tell the difference?
My gynac explained that implantation bleeding is usually much lighter, more like spotting, pinkish or brownish, and lasts just a day or two. A period is heavier, redder and flows for the usual days. But honestly the only sure way to know is a pregnancy test after a few days, spotting alone cant confirm it.
The light early pregnancy spotting is usually faint and short, while a period is a proper flow. That said, if you're bleeding and might be pregnant, especially with cramps or heavy flow, please see a doctor, dont just wait it out. Bleeding in pregnancy always needs to be checked.
Actually it's hard to tell just by looking yaar. Implantation wala bleeding is very less, just spotting for a day. If it's lighter than your normal period and you might be pregnant, take a test after couple days, thats the only real answer.
Take a breath, this confuses so many of us. The early pregnancy spotting tends to be scanty and brief unlike a full period. Note how heavy and how long it lasts, and do a test in a few days, and if anything feels off get checked. You'll have your answer soon.
I had this exact confusion, I saw light spotting and felt so torn between hope and worry. Mine turned out to be implantation, very light pinkish for barely a day. I waited and tested and it was positive. So dont jump to conclusions, give it a few days and test.
