How to know in pregnancy about gender in sonography?

Im 5 months and going for my next scan soon. Just curious matlab can the sonologist even tell from the screen, or do they not say it here? Asking only out of curiosity yaar, anyone who knows pls share.

Just to let you know, ultrasound clinics in India have very strict laws and they won't disclose the gender at all. It's actually a heavy offense under PCPNDT. Better to focus on the baby's growth and weight in the reports!
