Twins run in my mothers side and im showing a bit early plus the nausea is intense. First scan is still a week away and im so curious. Are there early signs that hint its twins?
Haha the only sure way is the ultrasound, that's when we saw two little hearts and I nearly fell off the table. My early symptoms were extra strong, more nausea and tiredness, but scan is the real confirmation.
An ultrasound is the only way to confirm. Sometimes a higher hCG or very intense early symptoms hint at it, but dont rely on that. The first scan will tell u clearly, so wait for it.
I had really bad nausea and a bigger bump early so I kept wondering if it was twins. Turned out just one. Did anyone here actually guess twins before the scan? I think only the scan really tells.
My doc said the early scan around 6 to 8 weeks is when twins are usually spotted, by seeing two sacs or heartbeats. Symptoms like strong nausea can be a clue but arent proof. So the scan is the answer.
