We've been trying for couple months now and i think im just not timing it right. I dont really understand how to figure out my ovulation days. Can someone explain how u tracked it?
We're trying too and I was equally confused at first. Apps helped me see my fertile days, and our doctor said relax and try every alternate day in that window. Don't overstress about it, that's what I keep telling myself.
Ovulation is usually around the middle of your cycle, roughly day 14 in a 28 day cycle, and those days are the most fertile. I tracked mine using an app plus noticing the egg white kind of discharge. There are ovulation kits too that check it from urine.
Ovulation predictor kits worked great for me, you pee on them and they detect the surge before ovulation. Pair it with a tracking app and watch for the slippery discharge. Best chances are the day of and 1-2 days before ovulation.
Middle of the cycle is the fertile time yaar. Signs are clear stretchy discharge and slight body temp rise. If nothing happens after few months of trying, then see a gynac for proper guidance, dont wait too long.
I'll gently say tracking ovulation was tricky for me because of irregular cycles with PCOS. If your periods are irregular, the calendar method may not be reliable, so a gynac can do a follicular scan to actually see ovulation. Worth asking your doctor for the right method for you.
