Just found out im pregnant and everyone keeps asking how many weeks but i genuinely dont know how to count it. My periods were a bit irregular too so im more confused. How do u figure out the exact week?
My gynac counted my weeks from the first day of my last period, not from conception. The dating scan in early pregnancy confirmed it more precisely. So if you know your last period date, that is the starting point.
I just entered my last period date in a pregnancy app and it tracked my weeks automatically. The early ultrasound then fine tuned the due date. Apps make it so easy to follow week by week.
Count from the first day of your last period, that is how doctors do it. The first scan will give the accurate dating. Dont try to calculate from the conception day, it gets confusing.
