Just got married and we want to start a family soon. But honestly i dont fully understand how to figure out my fertile days and the right time. Can someone explain how they tracked it?
My doctor explained ovulation usually happens about 14 days before your next period, and the days just before it are most fertile. Ovulation kits or tracking your cycle help pinpoint it. If your cycles are irregular, better to consult a gynac for guidance.
I am in the same planning phase right now. From what i understand the fertile window is the few days around ovulation, roughly mid cycle. I started tracking my cycle on an app to figure out my days, helps a lot.
We just started trying too and i was also confused about timing. A friend told me about ovulation strips and counting from cycle length. Its a bit of trial and error, dont put too much pressure in the first few months.
If your cycles are regular, tracking ovulation works well. But i have PCOS so mine were all over the place and i needed a doctors help to figure timing. Just saying, if periods are irregular dont wait too long to see a gynac.
Track your cycle for 2 to 3 months to spot your pattern. Your most fertile days are the middle of your cycle. Also start folic acid now if you havent, doctor will guide you on prep before conceiving.
