im in my last month now and getting a bit anxious about how I will even recognise it. Like is it a big gush or just slow leaking? I keep worrying I will confuse it with something else. Pls share ur experience.
I delivered last month so still fresh. The water has no smell and it keeps leaking even when u r lying down, that's the giveaway. Unlike urine u cant hold it back. Once it happens, go to hospital.

You'll feel a warm wetness that you cant stop, clear or slightly pinkish fluid. Note the time and colour, then head to the hospital. If it's greenish or smelly, tell them straight away.
Please dont ignore this one. If u feel any continuous leaking, even if u r not sure, ring ur gynac immediately. With me they wanted me in fast because of infection risk once water goes. Better safe.
Sometimes it's a sudden gush, sometimes just a steady leak of clear watery fluid. Either way, the moment u suspect water breaking, call ur doctor and go in, dont wait at home for contractions.
