Twins run in my husbands family and my belly feels bigger than usual for 9 weeks. I have my first scan coming up. how do they confirm if its twins? slightly nervous and excited both.
Honestly the only sure way is the ultrasound, thats how i found out i had two in there, what a shock haha. I did have crazy nausea and a fast growing belly though. But dont guess, the scan tells the real story.
My doctor said an early ultrasound is the confirmed way, and sometimes very high hCG hints at it. Symptoms like extra nausea or quick weight gain can be clues but arent proof. The scan around 6-8 weeks shows clearly.
