First pregnancy and im constantly anxious between checkups. Some days I dont feel many symptoms and then I start overthinking everything. Just want to understand what are the signs that things are fine. How do you all stay calm?
Go to all your checkups and dont skip the scans, thats the real way to know. At home, normal symptoms like nausea or tiredness early on, then feeling kicks later, are reassuring. Anything alarming, call the doc, otherwise no need to panic over every twinge.
If your regular checkups and scans are normal, your weight is going up steadily and you feel baby moving as months pass, those are good signs. Try not to measure it by how you feel daily, some days are just tired days. Trust your doctor visits.
Keep your faith and your routine checkups, both. When the reports come normal and baby grows well, take it as a good sign and stay calm. Eat well, rest, and dont fill your mind with too much worry. Your doctor will guide for the rest.
I keep needing reassurance too honestly. My gynac told me that as long as scans are fine, baby is growing and movements are there in later months, things are on track. Anyone else feel anxious between appointments? The waiting is the hard part.
First, it is so normal to keep worrying if everything is okay, I did the whole time. What helped me was reminding myself that the doctor checks all the important things at each visit. As long as scans and reports are good, you are doing great mama.
My doctor said the main markers are steady growth on scans, normal blood pressure, normal sugar levels and good fetal movement in the later weeks. She told me to watch for warning signs like bleeding, severe pain or reduced movement and call immediately if any appear. Otherwise enjoy it.
