Constipation has become my biggest issue since 2nd trimester started, sometimes it's so hard and painful. I dont want to take anything without asking my doc but wanted to know what natural things helped you all. pls share.
I used to eat papaya, the ripe one, and it helped me a lot. Also walking thoda after food. Simple things only but they really worked for me, no need to take anything strong.
I had this badly and was tempted to take something from medical shop, but my gynac told me not to take any laxative without asking first in pregnancy. She suggested safe options for me. Pls check with yours, some are not okay now.
Beta try overnight soaked kishmish and a glass of warm water first thing in morning, very gentle and our family always did this. Add more fiber like oats and vegetables. But if it gets very hard or painful, do mention to your doctor, dont take any laxative on your own.
Constipation is so common, the iron tablets make it worse. What fixed it for me was water, a lot more than I thought I needed, plus soaked figs and prunes in the morning. Took a few days but worked without any medicine.
My mil told me to have more buttermilk and ragi, it really helped my digestion. Warm water through the day also. If nothing improves after a few days though, your doctor can suggest something safe na, dont struggle silently.
