My baby is 5 months now and the side fat near my waist just refuses to go. Nothing fits properly and it bothers me thoda when i see old pics. Anyone managed to reduce this, pls share what worked for u.
It's so hard to look in the mirror postpartum and feel okay with the changes, I completely get the anxiety. Please give yourself grace first. It took 9 months to grow a baby, so give your body at least that much time before worrying about love handles.
Haha, at 38 weeks, my love handles have their own love handles! Honestly, don't rush into it. Once the baby comes, the non-stop running around will be a workout in itself.
Aww, honestly, I am still pregnant and currently dreaming of hot samosas, so losing love handles is a future problem for me! But I hear breastfeeding and eating clean home food eventually helps.
After my normal delivery, I started with simple core-strengthening exercises and pelvic floor work once my doctor gave the green light. Consistency with walking and drinking lots of water really helped shape things up naturally.
I see this question a lot here, and my best advice is to start slow with daily brisk walking and a balanced diet. Don't go on crash diets as your body needs energy. Focus on core exercises like planks when you are fully recovered.
